Our Beginnings: Fostering Self Reliance for a Brighter Future
African Aid Mission was founded by Edi Kerubo, who was raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and inspired by her parents’ missionary work to help those living in poverty. Guided by Chief Encouraging Officer Dr. Aby Mamboleo, AAM equips rural African communities with the tools for self-reliance.
The organization funds and manages initiatives that foster economic independence, including distributing water filters to schools in Western Uganda, the “One Reach One Goat” project, agricultural support, and supplying equipment for local trades. AAM’s ultimate goal is to transition communities from poverty to interdependence.
